About Us
Jo Allen is an award winning style and image consultant, having trained with Europe’s leading image consultancy Colour Me Beautiful.
Her work includes giving advice to individuals and groups, in-store promotional work for retail businesses, as well as talks and presentations to clubs and networking groups. She is a contributor to BBC Radio Norfolk and has had articles published in the Eastern Daily Press, EDP Norfolk magazine, 'Coastal' magazine, and 'Best of Norfolk'. Additional commitments have included judging the ‘Heavenly Hats’ competition at the Royal Norfolk Show and appearing in the CMB book ‘Colour Me Younger’!
Prior to training as a style and image consultant, Jo spent several years working as a Senior PA/Secretary in both the private and public sector. Having completed a Business Studies degree in 1997 as a ‘mature’ student(!), she spent some time looking for the right business opportunity and has never looked back on her decision to retrain with Colour Me Beautiful. She is also a farmer’s wife and mother of two daughters (age 13 and 11), so brings a wealth of different experience to the advice she can offer to clients in her image consultancy role.
"I strive to show everyone how easy it is, with the simple use of colour and style knowhow, to feel and look your best. Whatever your motivation, the confidence that comes from knowing you look good yields so many benefits. My aim is to make it fun and relevant in everyday life - and not just something that the lucky few on TV makeover shows get the pleasure of!"
